I led the backend side of a system that connects a mobile app to a locked-down RPA environment. The goal was to automate operations that normal APIs could not perform. The backend had to accept mobile requests, trigger RPA agents running in an isolated cloud setup, and return results safely and reliably.
The ChallengeExpand
The client needed operations automated in a way regular APIs could not handle. That meant bringing RPA into the system and making sure mobile requests, backend orchestration, and isolated automation agents stayed in sync.
The SolutionExpand
We designed a flow where the mobile app sent a request to our API server, which then communicated with an RPA server. The RPA server triggered agents running in a locked-down environment somewhere in the cloud. No manual access, no interference. When the agents finished their tasks, the response moved back through the chain (RPA agents to RPA server to API server to the mobile app).
